Neck Lift

Sometimes, the most visible sign of an aging face isn’t your face at all – it’s your neck. These changes are usually inherited. As you get older, you can accumulate excess fat in your neck that is independent of your body weight.

What Happens During a Neck Lift?

For a neck lift, Dr. Robinson uses short incisions that are hidden behind the ears. He then uses liposuction techniques to remove excess fat from the entire area, followed by removal and tightening of the excess skin. The entire procedure takes only about two hours.

A neck will leave your neck looking smooth and firm with a youthful contour. It also frequently improves the jawline or jowl area. Dr. Robinson always performs this procedure on an outpatient basis in an accredited outpatient surgery center with highly trained anesthesiologists and nurses.

The recovery time after a neck lift is fast, with most people going back to work in less than ten days. It is not a painful procedure, and there is little bruising. The results are very long lasting, and scars are hidden behind the ears and by your hair.

About two months after your procedure, he will take “after pictures” and give both sets of photos to you. They are fun to look at and compare the differences.
